The Professionals Cricket League: Where Passion Meets Purpose

Conceptualized by Sportsman Spirit, the Professionals Cricket League (PCL) is a unique platform built on emotion, passion, and compassion. It serves as a premier networking and socializing hub for a distinguished community of Professionals, Entrepreneurs, Government Officials, and Law-Makers, all united by their love for cricket.

At its core, the PCL has two primary objectives: promoting fitness across society through a beloved sport and championing vital social causes. This commitment to philanthropy is the league's foundational pillar, earning it the title, "Cricket For A Cause." Unlike typical sporting events, our focus is not on profit maximization. Instead, we are dedicated to maximizing awareness and donations for critical social issues. In our inaugural edition in March 2023, participating teams directly supported HIV Positive Children by presenting donations to OFFERS India, a renowned NGO.

The upcoming 2nd edition, planned for November 2025, will continue this legacy. We had 12th Man Sports Association as our Organising Partner for the first successful tournament.

Participants, sponsors, and partners receive significant value, including extensive offline and online media coverage to showcase their brands and professional work. The PCL experience is enhanced by exclusive pre- and post-event engagements, designed to foster meaningful professional relationships with a personal touch.

To ensure a world-class experience for all, the tournament will feature live scoring and broadcasting, equipped with modern technology assists, delivering an entertaining spectacle for participants and audiences alike.

The tournament has been conceptualized with 3 main objectives-

i) Networking and Socialising Platform for Professionals, Entrepreneurs, Government Officials and Law-Makers through fun filled yet competitive Cricketing event.

ii) CRICKET FOR A CAUSE - Supporting the Right Cause through donation collected from the tournament participants and sponsors which may be channelized to the deserving NGO.

iii) Promoting fitness amongst various levels of the society.

The Inaugural Edition of Professionals Cricket League, Kolkata Chapter 2023, was a Grand Success. 8 Teams of Professionals from different fields participated in the fun filled yet competitive cricketing event.

Second Edition of “PROFESSIONALS CRICKET LEAGUE” will have more thrills, networking events and excitement. It will be held in popular cricket grounds in KOLKATA. Final venues and fixtures are yet to be finalised and it will be done before the Press Meet and Captain’s Meet.

Duration: 6 Days (Nov 2025)

Matches will be in T10 format with few exciting new rules to maximize participation and coordination.

This event will be strictly on invite only basis

After requests from professionals from other spheres, we are planning to have Total of 16 teams will be participating in the Second Edition of Professionals Cricket League .

We are planning to have professional production crew for live coverage along with few slow motion cameras, 3rd Umpire etc.

The event will be covered by all leading print, digital and electronic media. All matches will be covered and broadcasted live on different streaming platforms.

Pre and Post Tournament Activity will be held in reputed Social Clubs which includes Curtain Raiser and Press Meet, Captain’s Meet and Jersey Handover, Opening Ceremony, Closing Ceremony and Prize Distribution.
